This beautiful little float house is in Echo Bay, Gilford Island, Broughton Archipelago. This area is only accessible by boat and is a favourite destination for those cruising the Inside Passage.

The cliff in Echo Bay has petroglyphs and was a sacred place for the First Nations people. The height of the population of First Nation People was at one time of hundreds of thousands in Broughton Archipelago before the arrival of the Europeans with their diseases. There are still burial sites in this area.
